21 Goals Before 21

8:44 AM

Exactly two months from now, I'll be another year older. I'm totally comfortable with the idea of getting older, it's just a number and I am excited with the changes and new things that may come in. I'm grateful that I've made it this far and to look younger than my age is a plus. Lol. Then there are days where I get anxious at the achievements and success thereof in my life. I'm not the type of person who gets easily insecure of other people's achievements, it's just that whenever I see their dreams turn into realities, I couldn't help but feel like I've wasted half of my 20 years, the best years of my life... Those are the days I fail to see my own capacity, ability to do better and pursue what I really wanted in life. It happens, it's okay. But after a moment of wallowing in sadness, I took this as a reason not to waste any second longer. And also, I always believe that everything happens for a reason, so I am darn pretty grateful of my 20 years existence, I'm still young, there's more for me.

My  20s was one of the best year of my life, I graduated as a consistent scholar, I still have the best of friends I have since college, I got my first ever work, I celebrated my first ever birthday with my dad, I got a lot of first time, running away with stress, trekking while raining, celebrate anniversary, bought almost 10 pairs of shoes, had my own money, feeding myself, paying my apartment, gave my parents and siblings money from my own salary, almost to being independent. And hooray for all of it!

One of the things I do is make my own to-do-list or to-go-list, that was a long time ago. It's kinda great but I realized it don't work that way. I just want to make something fancy and challenging. So here's my 21  things to do before I turn 21. Will I accomplish it in just two months?
  1. Treat my bestfriend to her dream buffet dessert.
  2. Register to red cross.
  3. Visit Tanauan for ihaw-ihaw and kulawo.
  4. Watch the dancing lights at Ayala.
  5. Work hard!
  6. Wear skirt.
  7. Prepare gifts for Christmas for family.
  8. Spend less.
  9. Save money for my birthday adventure.
  10. Jog three times a week. (Hopefully)
  11. Drink tea everyday.
  12. Buy my first ever bb cream. (For a change. Hahaha)
  13. Give a homeless old man a meal.
  14. Bar hopping with my housemates.
  15. Stop drinking soft drinks.
  16. 5-minute exercise everyday.
  17. Thread my eyebrow.
  18. Climb Mt. Pamitinan. (Hopefully this month.)
  19. Meet my long lost sister.
  20. Treat my father.
  21. Buy a double chain necklace.

Just few of my to-do-list. But  idk if I can make them all. Lol. I'm just bored, so I need to write. Good night.
